Abstract
Mottel Cohen (1832-1947) was a prominent member of the Denver Jewry, and died at the impressive age of 114 years. Cohen was born in Czarist Russia, and fled from persecution to Argentina during the 1890s with his wife and twelve children. In 1898, the family migrated to New York, and moved to Denver soon after that. During his later years, Cohen was a resident of Beth Israel Home for the Aged, and known for his boisterous nature.
